This review is not about any projects, it's about high ethical standards that Steve displayed as a contractor. I reached out to Steve when our home needed some repair. Although he could have quoted exorbitant price and taken up the project, he didn't. He provide very valuable inputs using which we were able to get it repaired elsewhere. That speaks volumes about his professionalism. I look forward to working with him in future projects

My wife and I are procrastinators and we weren't any different when it came time for us to sell our home. Stephen and his team are extremely professional, friendly, and responsive. He listened to us and gave his opinion that really helped us narrow down what to do. After some discussion with my realtor, we decided to remodel the kitchen, two bathrooms, and full interior and exterior paint. They were so efficient, on budget, and finished on time. We just recently sold the house and can't be happier with how everything turned out. Hopefully, Steve will come up to SF to help us with my new place.

10 stars for Stephen and his team! Among other things, they removed a built in wall unit and matched the crown/base perfectly. They replaced the drywall and applied a particularly difficult texture to the wall that perfectly matched the other walls. He and his team did many other things in our home in a timely and very fastidious manner. They were truly a pleasure to work with. We HIGHLY recommend Stephen Bass Home Repair and Remodeling.

This review is long over due; but perhaps, more useful because I've lived with the remodel for over a year now. Steve did a complete remodel of my kitchen, half bath, front entrance flooring, not to mention all the little extra's. He replaced all the flooring, cabinets, countertops, lighting, toilets, sinks, faucets, garbage disposal, modeling, installed all new appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave hood), replaced bathroom fans, updated, stained my staircase railing and I could go on and on. What's extra extraordinary about this job, is that I had a crazy, impossible time line,..I needed it completed before my in-laws arrived for the Christmas holiday! Steve completed the job in just 10 days,..and did NOT cut a single corner! As a matter of fact, he actually did extra things and did not add an up-charge, just complete pride in his work. For example: he did the modeling around my entire living room so it would like better. And if that isn't enough, he was a fraction of the cost AND the time needed to complete the job, out of 3 other bids I received. I've never had the pleasure of working with such a professional in the construction industry. Not only was Steve professional and courteous throughout, his staff and office personal (also named Steve) are equally professional, knowledgeable and friendly. See before and after photos
