It was great to use a contractor that was so professional! No calling a cell phone that is in some guy's back pocket. He has an office professional to contact. He answers questions, schedules appointments, and collects payments. So easy. Now about the work. I've had lots of workers in my house over the years. This has to be the cleanest crew ever. Vacuuming as they worked. Left the house cleaner than they found it daily. Came on schedule and did all the work as promised. I replaced some baseboards, some doors, and had painting done. All down with perfection. I wouldn't hesitate to call Steve for any future work.
High points: Very responsive, great communication, great service, great work. Will definitely recommend and hire again. We had a small area of siding damage and a few other miscellaneous repairs around the house. It was so hard to find someone to even respond - general contractors the work was too small, other handyman shops (even with great reviews) didn't respond after several voicemails and emails. I was getting really frustrated, when I found Stephen Bass Home Repair and sent an email asking for a bid. I received a very fast response, I was kept updated at all times during the process, communication was professional. All paperwork was thorough and on time, every appointment was on time and efficient but friendly, and the work was done quickly, cleanly, and very well. I am so happy that I found Stephen's company and am happy to now have a handyman I can recommend to people.
Stephen helped repair decorative shutters on my home. These are pretty tricky as they can be hard to match color and have odd construction. He handled it like the pro that he is! Him and his team were very responsive when we requested a quote, and his price was very fair and reasonable. On the day of the job, he showed up on time and had the work finished within a few hours. It looks great! He matched the color perfectly and the shutters look good as new. I would highly recommend him and definitely will reach out to him for other jobs in the future!
Stephen and his office did a great job with patching a section drywall, reinstalling my bathroom sink, and reconnecting all of the plumbing, after a destructive leak that I had last month. Since I live in a condo with an hoa, I had to get this fixed asap, so that the owner of the unit below me could start their repair. Stephen came back the next day to make sure things were good as well. He also fixed my door, which was jamming to one side...just because it was so noticeable and annoying.
